Saturday with the shrimp clan

Decided to take the whole family out on a beautiful Saturday. A friend called last night and said he was taking his boat out to fluke on the rive then go to spermaceti cove for lunch. Sounded perfect, so we packed a nice picknic lunch and headed down this morning with the whole family. My buddy Chris and I met up under the highlands bridge and set up to do some drifts. Well the drift was over 2.5 mph, there was a lot of weed and the kids got Antsy after three drifts. Chris recommended we head over to the cove to get a spot, so off we went.

Set up in the cove with a few other boats and before we knew it, it was packed. There were nine of us in our party. We set up our area, cranked jimmy buffet and enjoyed a great day on the beach!

At the end of the day we didn't catch a fish, but had a great time partying at the beach!
