Today was a tough one with the BLUES. We drove around the ocean, looked at a lot of areas, tried drifting & jigging like we have been and then anchoring & chumming but only caught a few fish.

We saw fish readings and bird life in several areas but for whatever reason the fish did not want to cooperate today. The only saving grace today was that it was a beautiful day in the ocean.

We will be back at it again tomorrow and I expect the fishing to return to the way it was.

We have a private fund raising charter for police officers on Thursday & Friday, June 5 & 6 and will not be open to the public.

The GOLDEN EAGLE sails daily for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ. NIGHT BLUEFISING Friday & Saturday nights at 7:30pm.
