Insane Bass Bite to 43# 6/1

[NATE THE MATE]

Took a couple first timers out yesterday for stripers. Made bait early then headed north, set up on our first drift and picked our first bass @ about 25 pounds. But not a touch after that wind dropped off to almost nothing and so did the bite. Made two other drifts with out a touch so we Picked the lines up and put the spoons in, right away we had fish! First one was a slob weighing in at 43# and 48" long with in 5 min of getting that fish to the boat the other rod got slammed, got it allmost all the way to the boat and she came un buttoned. Continued to troll picking up another slob that weighted in at 39# and my buddies new PB . Was headed home and found the bass blowing up on the bunker. It was nice before the mob scene showed up . But it was snag and drop big bass and all u wanted. Put 2 more 30+ pounders in the box then played catch and release on 6 other bass until the idiots showed up driving through the middle of the bunker schools . Headed home with 5 nice bass letting the rest swim. Great day on the water!
