Sea Hawk Stripers 5/3 - Great Day!

Came out of keyport at 6am, set up on the troll to try and mark some fish, no luck. So we set up on our spot from last weekend and within 15 minutes, fish on. It wasn't a hot bite, but consistent all day to keep the interest. As others, on the water seemed to pick up and leave, we held it out and benefited. Last weeks take and run from the bass, turned to a nibble, and each hook needed to be set. In the end 16 bass were boated, 8 keepers (all with tags), 4 shorts, and 4 keeper size bass up to 35 inches released. Biggest fish of the day 36.5in 20lbs. That's why we call it fishing and not catching!!
