18 on the Pequest Today

Boy they were slamming the plugs today.....despite a nip in the air had a ball....also talked to a guy who took a 7 lber. a few days ago on a fly rod with a streamer. Enjoy! Capt. Dave

Good to hear and nice catch. I haven't been able to get a stocked rainbow to take a plug all spring. I usually clean up on repalas!

Nice. When I was eating dinner at Hotdog Johny's, I could see the Pequest was having some kind of hatch. Caddisflies maybe?

Most likely. There've been heavy hatches of both caddis and blue quills since Fri on the BFB, Pequest and Musky. Caddis have been especially heavy on the Pequest as well as the Paulinskill.
