Default Manasquan Reservoir

Planning on going this weekend, can anyone give me a heads up on the Manasquan Reservoir? Never been there, what can I expect?
Thanks,
Charlie

Expect lots of wind to be honest! Idk forecast off hand but its just one of those lakes b.c of its size and openness. You get nice days tho it has tons of tree stumps along shorelines and is nice clean deep water! Nice area

The few times I have fished it has always produced for me. Are you fishing from a boat or land? From the boat I always did well with bass and crappie in trees. From shoreline good results as well with perch, pickerel, and bass from the rip rap.

I always check the wind forecast before I decide to fish there. Winds over 15mph can make me want to choose a different place but its my favorite spot so I tough it out. The standing timber will get your attention but fish can be found all over and there are plenty of stumps and grass that you cant see.
