Hi all,
As a firefighter and fisherman, I thought I would give anyone that might be going to Thompson Park for opening day of trout a heads up. As you may or may not have known, they are going to be stocking Lake Manalapan In Thompson Park with Trout.

(unless that changed, which I hope it does since I can't see trout surviving long in that lake) I hear there is some type of tournament there opening day as well.
Just an FYI, there is also going to be many area fire departments there that day as well. They are having a large scale drill that will involve hose ran through the park roadways and trucks pumping water into the lake. A good portion of the park/lake area will be closed off for it.
Just thought I would pass it on. Good luck to all and tight lines!
