Farmington lake yesterday
Checked the lake yesterday with the hopes of it being defrosted and to my great joy it was! It became clear I wasn't the only overjoyed angler when I saw a car abruptly stop and it's driver quickly open the tailgating and pull out a rod. Only fished about 45 minutes because of the heavy winds and rain that moved in with no luck but still very happy to get out on the local lake again. Threw some deep jerk baits worked slowly and managed my first stick of the year. No pic so you'll just have to take my word on it. Will definitely be back this weekend better prepared with shiners and frosty beverages.
