Default Florida East Coast Surf Fishing

Just an update. Today I raked some sand fleas and went after Pompano. Landed a few good keepers enough for dinner. They fight hard and taste even better. We also landed some Spanish mackerel and small blues along with some whiting. Learning everyday. Big variety down here in the surf. Somedays we get sheepshead and an occasional red drum and black drum.Free bait and free beach access all close by. Don't miss the snow at all lol PS-Still love my stripers!!!!

Very nice! I went down 2 yrs ago caught some sheepshead ladyfish(i think) pompano a bunch of other things i don't remember the name of most memorable catch was the pelican in the back waters over by pelican island that thing jumped right in the boat and tried stealing every fish i caught for the rest of the day on the ride in he wouldn't get out of the Boat until a lil persuasion was put into play lol
