Latest update fisheries meeting!

tues. and wed. the fisheries council and all groups met for two marathon days. bag limits of cod and haddock should remain the same. two inch size increase in cod probale. most likely close sept. and oct. for groundfishing in the gulf of maine, not sure what year. opened up cashes and fippinnes for comm. fishing. sera proposal for 55 sq. mile closure in the gulf of maine proposal went ahead for public hearings next fall. all in all a setback for possibly next season, 2015. this year at least a stong GO! best, capt. jim
