Default Golfito 1/17-20

Fished 4 days on the Luna Sea II out of Golfito. Hard to describe the fishing without writing a book but i'll give you the bottom line. Raised 35-40 Blue Marlin coming tight on 23 and releasing 10. As many dorado as you wanted 30-50 lbs. A bunch of small yellow fins and a couple of sails. Could have had more sails if we fished smaller baits. Third time down and this was the best by far. Blues ran from 250-550 lbs. Boat owned by new jersey guys and charters when not in use if anyone interested. i have a bunch of video . Once i edit and figure out how to post i will

Banana Bay for the convenience. Casa Roland is the nicest hotel but its nice to have a room right on your dock.

As I understand it, Casa Roland is a drive to the marina ? Do they have their own boats or sub out the charters?

Casa Roland is about a mile from the marina . Beautiful hotel but empty all the time. i wouldn't rely on them for boat rec's.
