Default Prowler5 - Sad News

Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. Have some very sad news to report. One of our former mates and Capt., Eddie Broderick known as Puppet, has been missing since Sat. evening. The Coast Guard found his boat Sun. morning in the Shrewsbury River upside down. We're all very shocked and saddened about this. Puppet was one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. He'd literally give you the shirt off his back. He was a great dad to his 7 year old daughter. He worked off and on for about 5 - 6 years aboard the Prowler5 and was the second Capt. on our off-shore 24 hour tuna trips. I speak for everybody that knows him. It's a very sad time. He will be missed by everybody. Thx. Capt. Scott, Capt. Glenn and crew.

Terrible news. Puppet was one of the hardest working, knowledgeable mates in that harbor and that I had the pleasure of fishing with -- aside from that he was truly a GREAT guy; always smiling, always positive, always in a great mood. So sad to hear this news Prayers are with him and with his family and close friends...
