BOUNTY HUNTER - Stripers With The Bill McLean Charter, 11/23
We had the Bill McLean charter on board on Saturday. Along with Bill were his fishing buddies Bob, John, Dennis & Dave. We ran up to the northern grounds and were greeted by a sporty NW wind but the conditions were fishable. Jigging conditions were tough so we went on the Troll. We had our first Bass in a few minutes and then the little guys just kept coming. We trolled over 50 shorts before boxing our first keeper. After another 35 shorts it was time to move on. A short ride to the south put us into a decent Troll bite. We still had plenty of shorts but we managed to box 6 more keepers plus 2 Blues. We had a good time fishing with Bill and his crew. We hope to see them in the Spring.
