Jersey Nutz Late weekend report

Had two full open boats this weekend and we were able to find not stellar, but consistent fishing on both days. Both days we were overwhelmed with boat traffic Saturday we were able to pick at the stripers with a good amount of keepers and about 5 throwbacks and catch more blues then one wanted. Also set up for about an hour and a half on saturday for some tog and produced a handful of throwbacks.

Sunday we were greeted with a few less boats but more then i wanted to see. Put four blues in the boat at our first spot and then made a move further south and found some non stop action on the troll for stripers until a crowd of boats closed in on us and shut the fishing off like a light switch. More throwbacks on sunday then keepers, but we were able to manage a handful of nice fish. Made another wiggle once the boats closed in on us and found nothing but blues again. After that we set up on some structure and dropped some lines down for some tog. We got two nice 16" keepers and the rest throwbacks. Ended the day with a nice mixed bag of fish.
