Fishermen/Wed.nite fish report
We were out last nite with a small crowd and fishing was good right off the get-go,with Big Sal leading the way with high hook honors-6 fish and Chop Suey Louie winning the pool with a 20 plus lber. It was cold and windy and we made ice on the decks on the way out but the fish were there and the guys that came out did a good job of staying at the rail. There were limits from Kevin-Kmaty and Lenny and Ross and Mike, one of the few guys that fished hard all nite long. The fish are around right now and if you expect for them to hang around and wait for you to come fishing you are in for a rude awakening. The water temp at 1 point last nite was down to 47.7, granted that is surface temp, but a few more cold snaps or a period of snow and you guys that say we will see you in the fall when the bass start biting will miss out. Also , they are calling for warmer temps for the weekend and that means more people and many more boats, so get out the next couple of days before the full moon madness. We will be sailing on Thur.nite at 6;30, for info 908-930-2335.
