Fish Monger Stripers 11/11/13
Went out today with my Dad, Penny, Carlos, Andrew, and Manny for some striped bass. Got to the spot and started jigging. There were birds everywhere but nothing on the jigs. Then Capt. Jerry decided to start trolling. Trolling was really good. We had two rods going out and there was times we had two rods go off at the same time. Multiple times we had several fish on the same umbrella rig. We ended the day with a boat limit + 1 bonus tag, several blues. As we were cutting up the fish they were filled with sand eels. I don't understand why they wouldn't go for the jigs but that's fishing for you. Capt. Jerry and Danny thank you for a good trip.
