Default Blackfishing Saturday out of BI

Saturday I took a ride with a bunch of friends to one of the wrecks on a local reef and loaded up (3 LoL) nice blackfish. With the light morning wind it made for some fun anchoring work, but we found the good piece and had constant action all morning. Had well over 50+ fish, just keeping our legal 3 up to 5lbs. Had some greens, blues, whites, and clams. They wanted everything except the whites go figure. And we tried a blackfish jig tipped with green crab and had one small bite before loosing the jig and switched back to a regular rig.
Sorry no pics or vids this time as nothing was that big and we were in a rush to get cleaned up.

Nice report.
I like fishing out of BI as they have some very productive bottom that produces nice fish, especially later in the year.

Pffft Gerry I say the same thing for you guys up north! Actually thought I saw you guys coming back through the inlet on Saturday. Had a similar Albemarle as yours try to pass me going through the cut until he realized I was riding close to the edge and he decided to follow me

That inlet has turned more than a few men into boys

Ha. It was fun running the south bar when my engine (outboard) decided to become possessed and lift itself out of the water. Had to turn battery switch off and on in order for it to go back down!
