Default not surprised

Seems like it happens every year---Capt. Bogan called cancelling tomorrows 48hr trip--last year Sandy took care of us all--the year before, well you get the idea!!! I always schedule enough trips to incease the odds of getting out even if one is blown out....Bob still had room on the Wed 24hr trip so I jumped on it...think Muldune did also, or at least is trying to...Wednesday's weather looks great....anyone else jumping on?
Even as a kid, I was always struck by how fast the ocean could and would change.....still impressed by Mother Nature...

If you really want to increase your odds you will have try September. October is a tough month but usually very productive in the past 5 years. Prior to that it was always September. Good luck and catchem up

Right on..usually do 2-3 trips in Sept and 2-3 in Oct. On the old Gambler, we'd ALWAYS do the first trip which was the first Tuesday after Labor Day...the first trip was sometimes truly EPIC---how about 60-106 yft's for 24 anglers a few times--of course that was before the 3 fish daily limit on yft's....

Did the same Chucky
Jumped on Wed myself
I too book a few to increase the odds and jump on other spots open as they get blown out. Ya have to in order to get out and your time in at the rail.
October tuna fishing
See ya Wed

Gotta talk to my Boss. I was schedualed on last Friday's trip that blew out. I think I could make Wednesday work. These new jigs need to get wet!

Excellent...be great to see you and Charlie again, along with Muldune...might have the new spiral for this trip, I hope...weather looks good for the trip...let's hope the blow didn't screw up things too much...they should be hungry with no one feeding them for a few days...
