Default OOPS? or Red right return?

Yesterday morning just at high tide was done and going back out... boat had a name from Rhode Island...

Pretty easy to do in that area if you are not familiar with it... Those pilings are just under the water at high tide.

They improved the navigation markers in the area last year (I think) by adding some pilings with markers out in front of the old peer but still not 100% fool proof. They should have a red and green out in the bay to mark the entrance to the marina so you are lined up right when coming in to avoid those pilings.

Surprised they haven't removed those old pilings all together since I know many people have screwed up their gear in them.

Very easy to do there. You cant see those pilings at all at high tide. You can still cut through the pilings that they put up to stop people from doing that

I had asked someone why they don't remove them. He said they are privately owned and if owner removes them he will loose his rights to ever being able to build something there. I don't think anything will ever be built there but it made sense to me? It is very easy to do during high tide and if your not familiar with entry.

I had a 40' hateras do exactly that at the AHMM pile field. Bunch of stoners
