Fishermen/ stripers on Mon. nite
First of all we will not be sailing this afternoon at 3;30 on Sun. trip. Its 1 of the the few days I have to be with family. Second, we were out last nite and had good fishing in the beginning and the end of the nite and the middle was pretty slow, not because there was no fish but they were not biting. Third, we will be fishing for only stripers on Mon. nites trip and the following week adding Tue. nite and a week later adding Wed. nite and so on. Its getting to be time where we can catch some bass with the right conditions. We will be drift fishing which means short drifts over bottom that holds fish and some drifts last only 1 min., this fishing is not for people that do not like reeling up and down alot. The bait crisis is still going on, very few good worms and not much small ones. I am asking anyone that is coming down for the bass trips to stop and get a dozen worms or an eel or 2 just because my bait guy can not get a good enough supply of bait for us just yet. On the rest of the nites we will still fish for porgies and croakers. BUT THAT CAN CHANGE. fOR INFO 908-930-2335.
