Hudso Report 8/15-16 Longfins and Yellowfin
Trolled down the east wall with no action till we joined the fleet at the mouth.
Had a bite that did not come tight, circled and came tight on 2 longfins. One pulled the hook and the other was landed. Worked that area during the afternoon and put 6 more longfins on ice. As we headed for the bank to anchor for the nite a rod goes off and we landed a 50 lb yellowfin. As expected the nite bite was uneventful and morning trolling did not produce. Nice to see these large size longfins joining the party. My happy campers enjoyed the calm ride home with 8 tuna on ice. Last edited by Tenacious Sportfishing; 08-17-2013 at 04:40 PM..

Nice catch Capt. Should be getting better by us any day now, how deep was the thermocline when you were out there?
