![]() Had a split charter on the Mijo last evening. A little missed communication to start, I wanted to bottom fish had foud out at the dock we were fluking.
Mates were quick to rig us up with fluke rigs since we were loaded for sea bass. Headed out towards the knoll, started with wind vs. tide to make conditions difficult. Capt made a number of moves trying to find some fish. Mates were great and had their hands full with a number of beginners. Difficult night of catching with 3 keepers for 24 people but gorgeous night for fishing. Mijo had a morning charter and you would never know, Mates scrubed and turn boat around and it was spotless for us to board. Capt and mate were great and met a number of new people and a good time was had by all. |

![]() I have been running my Family & Friends trip on the Mi-Jo for the last 3-4 years. I couldn't ask for a better boat and crew. Can't ask for better people when it comes to helping kids & novices learn the ropes. I think I would have a mutiny on my hands if I ever tried to switch boats!
![]() Sundays results 24 keeper fluke for 37 peeps, with the largest at 6.7#.
