Thursday July 18th Fluke report -Johnny Bucktails

Went out with the lip for only a few hours because of this heat. Fishing was hot but it was just not worth it. Only fished for about hour and a half but i boxed my limit and the lip... yea he struggled. ahahaha It was flat calm but there was no wind which made for tough conditions. my dad was dragging bait but couldn't get a bite. They only wanted my bucktails. A lot of shorts but they were very aggressive. I hope it stays this way. The lip will get his revenge when its not too hot. Great short day on the water, hope the bite continues. Ended the day with 5 keepers. Big fish around 4 and a half pounds.
