Question Snappers?

Hi guys,

Have not had a chance to go out to Atlantic Highlands this summer for some fluke and wanted to know if folks have been able to catch snappers by the party boats for bait?

I know in August they're everywhere and impossible not to catch, but wanted to be sure if they're out there now before I make a trip all the way down there. Killies used to be my bait of choice but it seemed like snapper was the only way I'd catch a keeper last year.

Fished the oceanside of the hook today, they were there in the wash all day. Too small for the store-bought snapper popper

They are in our harbor but they're still very small.

try the sabikis tipped with a tiny piece of meat before your trip they should be small enough for those 3-5 inch baby blues
