Fisher Price IV 7/13 & 7/14 SHBA Tournament Recap
Took the weekend and competed in the SHBA tournament. Left the dock Saturday morning with Gerard, Cory and FJ on board. Turned the hook and was greeted by a 3-5 ft sea and a steady NE wind. Slugged our way through it and got set up where we have been seeing some nice fish. We picked away all morning in three different areas. Total for the day was 15 keepers to 8.6 lbs which put us in 3rd place for the day.
Left Sunday morning with Cory and Gerard and what a difference a day makes. Headed out in a different direction for the day. Fished 4 different locations all day with a pick of shorts and keepers. Unfortunately we were unable to find a bigger fish. Totaled 13 keepers to 4 lbs. We were able to hold our place in the tournament and finished 3rd. Congrats to the Capt Erwin and crew on the Scales and Tales for their win.
