Default Sunday solo on the shrimp

Made a few calls to put a crew together last minute for Sunday. No takers and a nice forecast (except for the heat)! So got up early, hooked the boat up, and headed south. Solo.

Started in the back but couldn't find a consistent bite, so after an hour decided to make a big move. Steamed for a while and found them in the ocean. Right move! Ended up with my best flukin of the year so far. Four keepers and many many 17 inch fish. By one o'clock started to feel the heat. Headache, nauseous, and feeling like I was starting to melt! Gotta get the Bimini top on, no where to hide without it! So with heat stroke setting in and me being alone, it was time to call it a day before I passed out.

Can't wait to get out again! I love this game

PM me your number. It's a lot of work doin it alone! Launching, running the boat, fishin, and getting back on the trailer. Didn't even find the time to eat my sandwich

It's like being on full alert the whole time. Takes a lot out of you. Always nicer with another set of hands and eyes on the boat.

Trust me I know Steve..made numerous tips out of Bry's and the tidal ramp solo as well as out of Barnegat Inlet. Sending you my phone # on PM in case we can hook up some time.
