Default Fishermen/ Fri. nite fishing

It was a bad day at the office for me last nite. The porgies were not where we had them for a couple of nites and I looked over a few other other drops and 1 spot was loaded up but they were swimming around instead of staying put on the rocks and every time I would drop on them off they would swim. At the end of the nite we managed a few bass up in the bay, only spot where we could hold bottom. I have been doing this fishing now for 40 years full time and I cannot remember the current running as hard as it has been the last 3 weeks. The other nite when it should have been almost slack tide the current picked up and 10 oz. leads were not holding, what gives?. We will be sailing tonite at 6;30 and tomorrow at 3;30p.m. For info 908-930-2335
