BOUNTY HUNTER - 2 Tough Days Of Striper Fishing, 6/17 & 6/18
On Monday we had the Ken Steiner charter on board the Bounty Hunter. Had no trouble making bait and then headed up to the fishing grounds. Made several stops with no success. At the tide change we got our shot as the Bass came up to feed. In a 20 minute period we had 6 Bass play bump & run with the baits and a few run offs without any hook set. Frustrating to say the least.
 On Tuesday the Joe Burke charter was on board and it was basically a Monday replay except a brief stop on the Rocks got us several Bluefish bites and finally our first Bass. It was only 35" but it was a Bass.

We all know everyday won't be "epic". The number of those days vs/ the productive days you have far outweigh these days...Good with the bad...
