Default Toad outta Clark Res 06/05/2013
Hit Clark again last night from 730-9 PM. TERRIBLY slow until about 8:30 when I moved to a spot that has been productive and boy am I glad I moved.

2nd cast and BOOM! El Gigante! (although it was a female lol). F'er went ballistic. Jumped 2-3 times then dove and made a beeline for a downed tree but she was turned rather easily with some effort and the help of 10 lb Sufix. Snapped a pic of her below... She swam away no worse for wear... same deal--5" plum apple senko

Had two smaller fish after that and called it a night.

Catch em' up!

I didnt have a scale and I hate to speculate (or be a "fisherman"), but it was a pretty thorough fish.

My buddy had a small tape measure on him and we taped it out at only 19" but I highly doubt we taped it accurately. I was holding the fish up and was pretty amped up with adrenaline AKA not holding it very still lol... he was trying to measure it and I wanted to get her back in the water so conservatively she was likely in the 4.5-5 range.

All I know is that she was a def hawg lol...THICK fish...Put my whole fist in her mouth past my wrist haha...

You should feel that you are lucky since you can't. If you can, she might be too loose. unless you are hung like a whale.
