Sunday we headed out with chris and his charter of 7. With the high winds we opted to leave at 10. We set out the maja spoons and after a slow couple of hours we got into em. The bass were hitting the spoons as i was letting them out. around 330 we got a monster hit, rod doubled over Canyon HS-18 screaming after fighting the fish for about 15 minutes I sunk the gaff into her head and into the boat came the biggest bass of the season at 47lbs. We continued to troll and added several more bass to the pile with another fish right at 40lb. We ended the day with 9 bass 1 at 40lb 1 at 47lb and most over 25 30lb.
MONDAY
Monday we opted for a late leave again and we headed out to do some seabassing and bassing with regulars Al and Dawn and their families. As soon as we came tight on the two anchors we began putting fish in the boat after picking for a while we wanted to go try to see if we could find some big bass or the kids. we headed to where we had em on sunday and began trolling with only 1 knock down to show. We rounded out the day seabassing again and ended with 75 keepers and more then 150 shorts. Great action for the kids all day who had a blast catching the seabass.
We have availabilty during the weekday in June for both seabassing or striped bass fishing or combo trips also AM and PM trips.
