Default Welcome Off Duty Sport Fishing

Please help me extend a warm NJfishing.com welcome to Captain John Meisenbacher and the crew of Off Duty Sport Fishing sailing out of Clarks Landing in Point Pleasant NJ www.offdutyfishingcharters.com

Off Duty is a 35 foot Cabo Express that has the performance legends are made of. She has has an incredible sized cockpit of over 100 square feet providing an enormous amount of fishing room for six people. After you catch your fish, there are two large in-deck fish boxes to keep your catch fresh until it can be cleaned for your dinner table.

She is powered by two large Turbo Caterpillar Diesel engines which provide the boat with a cruising speed of around 30 mph. Because of her hull design and power train, she can run through any conditions to get you to the fishing grounds and return home safely.

She's got has an excellent assortment fishing and safety electronics on board as well as a stereo and color flat screen TV with DVD player in the Salon. HerStateroom/cabin features a diagonal double berth. Aft of the cabin is an L-shaped setee with a table. The Stateroom is heated for those cold spring and fall days and the Helm and Stateroom have air conditioning for those hot summer days. The Stateroom also has a large CLEAN bathroom with a toilet, vanity sink and shower.

Captain John has been around the water his entire life, growing up in Point Pleasant. His father and his grandfather, who was a sea captain, taught him about fishing the area waters. John was always fortunate to be aboard a family operated charter boat and charter boats owned by friends. With that desire to fish, in his late teens and early twenties, John mated on charter boats while holding down a full time job which turned into his career.

Welcome aboard Captain John and crew and all the best of fishing this year.
