Slow Bass Fishing on 60 Ritchie Tuesday

Capt. Phil had the 60 Ritchie out with the Bobby Eggen charter and struggled all day to put together a catch of bass. The ocean was just not giving up any decent action on Stripers and to top it off the bluefish invasion began. The charter enjoyed fighting as many blues as they wanted but what they really wanted was more bass and it was not to be today. Only a few bass made it to the boat and only 1 keeper in the mix with some shorts. Giving today a day off with both boats with a hard south predicted and will be back at it tomorrow through next week with both boats running morning afternoon trips so hopefully there will be more consistent fishing to report.
