Wednesday April 17th 2013 Striped Bass report - Johnny Bucktails
Quick report guys but to sum it all up it was just like sunday. Except today we only had four hours to fish because of school. Dinamite crew on lip, myself, and matty c once again. Within' no time we got our 3 man limit and threw fish back for the next two hours. Fish were there as soon as we got there. Amazing once again. Caught a total of 27 fish. Water temp really jumped up. I believe 57 now. Correct me if im wrong. The last keeper was a nice 38 incher caught by Matt. I really caught it but i like to make him feel good about himself. Aahaha lip had a really tough day today only landing one... yes one... short. Matt and I had to step up and carry him today. Lot of nice fish and we had a few fish break us off. Great day on the water once again. Tight lines

Congrats on your nice catch. The 3/4 day PB reported slow action today. They probably had gone in by the time you got out. In the 1st picture, there is a PB in the background. It looks like the Atlantic Star on its PM trip from AH. Can anyone confirm?

Nice catch JBT and nice meeting you at the cleaning table.
We were a little SW of you guys. Saw you go by and anchor up maybe a few hundred yards beyond us. Left the dock maybe an hour before you and got back 10 minutes before you. 3 keepers for us. One fat female loaded with eggs, may have been cooked but was released. Not as many shorts as you, but what a beautiful day on the water with a good crew. We had fun. Emcjim-------my eyes aren't as good as they used to be, but I'm pretty sure you're right. AS was out there. Tight lines guys. Tom
