Default Slow day at the lake

Went to target some yellow perch and I ended up catching about 5 white perch all about a foot long and fat. Also caught 1 black crappie that was maybe 10 inches. Saw 3 cormorants swimming around and catching a bunch of yellow perch, small white perch and what looked to be a small pickerel or maybe a musky.

I was really hoping for the bite to be on. It took awhile to figure out what they wanted. I had a black and green minnow that was working, till I snagged it on a submerged stump and lost it. Check bag, NO MORE. After that, I caught the 1 black crappie on a rainbow minnow. Then it was time for me to leave. 3 hours of fresh air, great view(s) and some tight lines. I guess a slow day really is better than a day being stuck inside somewhere.
