2-15-13 Really nice day today,,,seas went about 2ft.and the fish were chewing..Good life on all the drops we made today...Both Blackfish and Ling were in the mood..We had some guys with high hooks of 20-25 ling,,most who were dialed in had between 8-20,,some struggled a bit but overall it was good dingin,and the guys blackfishing while no one caught a limit of Togs a few did have three keepers,,some two,,and some one...Biggest fish went about6-7lbs and took home a nice pool..Mix the ling in with a large crowd overall I thought it was a really good day for most...Couple of Codfish as well..Tomorrow we are going,,,rain and some snow wont stop us and the winds are not supposed to get strong until tomorrow nite then its gonna be nasty from sunday on for a few days so tomorrow is the day to go!Check out some pics from today..

DO you did any fluke fishing in the summer? If you do, I'll try out your boat. I've been hearing good things about your boat.

Good things indeed. First time on OE today. Met capt. Bobby, nice guy.
Mate Mike was great. Friendly, funny, and on the ball with snags, tangles, ect.
First two drops were slow for me. Moved deeper an an old wooden wreck and we were slinging the ling. I put about 12-15 ling in the box and a shot tog. Few dog fish here and there but not to bad.
Over all everyone had ling, a few keeper blacks and ne keep cod from what i observed.
The boat was full. Between the nice weather, and a Friday leading into presidents weekend people came out.
No complaints, ill be back on on a weekday so there is a lil more elbow room.

Some of the best fluking on the OE...captain bobby rigged me up real good this summer and i caught me a nice little pool winning doormat. Excellent service from the mates Mikey and Jeff make the fishing experience on the OE one of the best there is.
