Default Ice fishing Safety

We ice fished my lake Sunday with life vests on we found a safe way out to 8 to 10 inches the ice in the cove was only 2 to 3 inches by 1pm it was water With that said two ladies walk out to us we tell them the ice is not safe they leave Next up my neighbor older guy tries twice to get to us first time we yelled go back he tries again in he goes up to his waist WTF we told him two weeks ago do not assume the ice is safe because you see us on it Plus he scared the shit out of me NEVER assume the ice is safe because you see people on it Sorry for the rant

Not a rant by any means, people are just plain and simply STUPID!!! Did they not see the life jackets you guys were wearing??? Why would they try to get on the ice unless they KNEW IT WAS SAFE. I AM SO #$%^&*@ TIRED OF STUPID PEOPLE. People should mind their own damn business
and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing. I Don't feel sorry for people when they do stupid things, everyone is accountable for their actions except for a small child who doesn't know any better!!!!!! That's a huge issue in this country. People think they can do whatever they want and then when something goes wrong they blame everybody else or actions are taken against people who have a Brain whom then have to deal with the consequences based on the actions of Others!!! Hearing about all of this stuff makes me XXXXXXX FURIOUS!

I agree 100 percent getanet! The best part of the people who just wander out on the ice is the look on their face and the statuelike pose with arms out. Then they slide around while standing still while somone yells bad ice! Haha. Im not perfect but im amazed on how many people dont use their brains on a frozen lake! The worst part is they just walked out of their million dollar lakefront home....wtf!

Well said guys.... its just takes a little common sense just like anything else read the water guys. 9 outta 10 people two weeks ago walked out came to us and asked how thick is the ice? Like really? Didnt you look for yourself? Before you came out here? Gotta love it!!!
