Default Pequest Trout Hatch Meeting, Spruce Run and Round Valley Update

Well My crew and I (Team Super Cool) attended the Pequest trout meeting today. Standing room only at the meeting and lots of great discussion topics.
Lots of pointers about needs for possible improvements and typical push back for the need of the non-fisherman's right to harvest what they will. Andy said it all before the meeting...it is all about selling fishing licensing?

We left just before the meeting was over, man my crew was hungry. While leaving, we are 100% sure we saw Santa Clause heading to the river to fish...fly rod in hand! Now we know where he wets a line.

Stopped by Spruce Run to have a look. Whole lake is covered in 1-2 inches of ice. Large rocks thrown by me and my crew skated across the lake to sink on the warm up. Larger rocks near the shore resulted in a hit and sunk.

A shift to see what Round Valley had was a surprise. No Ice and even a truck and trailer in the lot,,,didn't see the boat on the lake but have to assume they were out there somewhere. Saw a few folks fishing near the ramp...nothing while we where there.
