Default Party Boat Angler Update

The last day we tried was Monday MLK day and we only had 7 people show up so we sent them to the Prowler. I wanted to sail as I had a good Idea on where the fish were and with the forecast of wind and cold weather I knew we would be at the dock for a spell. The biggest pain is there is no electric in the harbor so we must run the engines twice a day in this sub freezing weather. We have asked the harbor get us electric but they do not like the head boats as we take up commuter parking. They get well greased by Sea Steak. Fishermen always get the shaft. We will be not be sailing through this weekend with cold and wind forecast. They show it getting warmer next week and if it does get nice we will give it another try.

Times have changed. I remember sailing with 50 people on MLK day, 35 years ago. If we had the ling like last year or the ling and whiting like 35 years ago we would have had more than 7 fares. Also missing this year are the macks.

Thanks Captain George (come on Fluke)
