This morning, Captain Alan reported that we picked away on a few short drifts with some doubles and triples being caught, and one customer caught 4. The afternoon didn't get any better as the winds came up from the NW and we were drifting at over 2 knots. We read the fish very well and ended up catching a handful of herring mixed in with the mackerel. He said it's not great, but a definite improvement over what it has been. Hopefully with the fantastic weather coming in this weekend fishing will be better.
