![]() Got out early planned on giving it an all day shot on a couple of NJ streams.
Felt guilty once in NJ me fishing while gas stations still had lines, but not to bad! Fished hard in a couple of good stretches , after couple hours nada, water high but perfectly fishable. Somethings not right, decided to take water temp , wow bowled me over 44 degrees! Last week it was in the high 50's , some drop , lure fishing in low forty is tough enough , but a drop like this in such a short time frame doesn't bode well for my style of troutin' Anyway fished till 4 covered a lot of great water , I think one slight hit, can't even swear to that! Good to get out after this week. |

![]() Interesting on the temperature drop, thanks for posting. I fished the North Branch for about 2 hours yesterday afternoon (had the afternoon off for a trip, but that beeatch Sandy wiped it out) and only had 1 bump on the day using inline spinners.
Water was running higher and faster than it has in awhile but I wouldn't have thought that extreme a temperature drop was at play. Going to have another go early tomorrow and hope for better luck.
