I'm guessing this is hoax but we shall see. Given how low the river is, I think a boat large enough to hold 3 people would not sink beyond view.

LOL I hope this is a hoax. Been in that area a million times, couldnt see myself ever needing to call the Coast Guard. Most spots you could walk across the river if need be.
