Default Greenwood Hawg off Planer Board

Missed a musky yesterday....then, nailed a 5-6 lb. walleye. Decided to do something different, 30 ft. of water....put out a Musky Innovations Shallow Invader off a planer board....amped speed up to 4 mph....I here zzzt, zzzt, zzzt, only to look back and see the board has been pulled off the line and is floating way back....pick up the rod and feel head shakes......44.5 inches with a big gut!....enjoy! Nice Eye and musky! I been doing some planer board trolling lately too, seems on any overcast day where theres no sun Im hittin them. Been using a slip sinker w herring off offshore planers w tattle flags or smaller crankbaits. starting to get the whole idea of it lol
