![]() Ok, so I dont have to work until 2 tomorrow so I figure I'll get some fishing in. I have never caught a pike before and heard they are biting good in millstone river so i think I'll try that. Problem is, I've never been out that way. Is the pike fishing better on the north side of carnegie lake or the south side? Can you catch them at the dam? Also is there anywhere to park and fish from land? Obviously I'm not looking for anyones spot here just a general idea. I'd really hate to drive up there at 6am and be completely lost. thanks in advance.

![]() i tried the rocky hill stretch thru griggstown for pike, only made 2-3 attempts though. only got a few pickerel and small bass. try using big spinner baits, spoons and #5 inlines, the usual stuff you'd use for them. try all different spots b/c they may only be in certain areas. theres alotta water to cover so its gonna take a while. i'm keeping at it,i know they're in there

![]() Hate to be a party pooper. But I am gonna say dont waste your time. I tried and tried all spring and early summer to catch them on the millstone and caught everything but. They are surely there but not in large numbers. I then went to other bodies of water where they are more heavily staocked and hammered them. Go where the numbers are.
