opening day
Planning on going to to the south branch for opening day with my dad, kinda of a tradition, with the cold waters the last few years only had luck with bait but was wondering if the slightly warmer and low waters this year helps with throwing metal. I was never real big on fresh water fishing but found that as the season entered late April and May the fish hit the metal a little better. I don't know if that is because early the fish aren't eating due to being fresh stocks or the cold water made them more lethargic or both. Just curious as to what some of the more seasoned vets to fresh water fishing think. Also, what is a good lure to throw i always seem to go to the phebees (spelt wrong) thanks for any info you guys have, good luck be safe on the banks.
