Bailing largemouths the past 2 days
I've stopped by a local pond after work the past two days and I've been catching all the largemouths I want. Nothing big, but that's because there aren't many big ones in there. The hot lure has been in-line spinners, both Mepps and Roostertails. The fish are shallow, often less than a foot deep, and most concentrated along the shoreline. If you're looking for something to do this week, find a small pond or a sheltered cove, start tossing a spinner, and have a ball!
