Fished a nyc reservoir Wednesday for some incredible spring action. Weather was overcast all day with water temps starting at 56 and finished at 58. Found the fish everywhere we went and it was game on all day. Caught them on jerks, jigs and senkos. Fish were shallow and related to structure on wood and rocks. Caught our share of picks and a few yel perch too. We had some quality fish in the mix.
A real nice start to the season. Will certainly be an early spawn this year for sure.
Not too much of a camera man but I had to take a pic of our first two green fish of 2012.
