Default Hiding above the snow!

... Ok so there ARE a few places for the brave to get on the ice. 3 1/2" is the thickest ice i've seen. Everyone i've talked to on the ice has been SUPER happy to be there but weren't having "Banner Days" most fish aside from some pickerel were caught in water deeper than 8' with decent weed cover. The fish CAN SEE you! i was fishing 5 1/2 feet of water yesterday and could see my lure plane as day through the clear black ice. Now there's a shroud of snow-cover for those GREAT spots that aren't that deep!!! Hopefully the weight of the snow forces up a bit of water up into the snow. this will mix with the snow and quickly freaze. This snow (SHOULD) also insulate the ice through the next bit of warmth next week. I'll be out this Afternoon! Good luck and be SAFE!!! ICE ICE BABY!!!! oh, ANYONE look up "Ice fish baby" on youtube...funny stuff
