Default Fishing Magnet

Many fishermen have helped decorate this fishing tree. I've seen others but not with quite so many decorations. It's like a fishing spider's web! Where's your favorite tree or telephone line?Click image for larger version

Looks like the tail of the schoolhouse pool up at sr! Good spot and evrey ody knew about it and knew where to fish with that tree there then two years ago someone had enough of that baby and cut it down😂 Now people have hardtime of finding the hole with the tree not there!

That's great. You'd think people would be more aware of what's overhead with all that tackle dangling down!

Things like that really give a fishing hole character. I've seen several trees like that in my travels. It's a good source of info to see what other anglers are using, as well!

Haha yep, lots of floats, beads, Flys were hanging in that tree, one of them mine. Ha. How bout the telephone lines over the hole below the altmar bridge? Always wondered how guys managed to cast into those lines.

Any of the wires on the SR have their share of hardware. It is amazing how many guys can't cast. Then you get the one that gets caught up and break off leaving about 50 feet of line hanging from the wire or tree into the river creating a drift problem for everyone else. Before long it actually gets to a point where you can't fish the hole until during the summer low water someone can access the mess and cut everything away. Then the process starts all over again in the fall! Too funny!

This is the kind of thing you get at the salmon river after someone snags up in a good spot and it happens over and over again!
