Default The Difference Between...

Groups like SSFFF, RFA, UB, NJBBA and a few others and the NJOA.

The aforementioned groups do not come on here and ONLY post press releases that end with asking you to GIVE THEM MONEY, like the njoa does.

They continue the discourse as long as needed, answering questions, giving opinion, giving updates etc. through their officers/volunteers/whatever.

NJOA however continues to post press releases and then disappear. Specifically the HEAD of NJOA, Anthony Mauro. He has not responded to a single question in ANY of the threads he has recently posted on the registry, yet continues to solicit for his group without actually contributing anything here.

I call that pathetic. At least the rest of us had the common courtesy to actually respond to people regardless of whether they agreed or disagreed with our positions (specifically SSFFF and UB from me personally although I respond on RFA issues as a member even though I hold no position with the group)

When have I or Capt. Adam EVER backed down from questions or refused to answer?

Answer: NEVER.

Anthony has YET to respond. What are we on now like the fourth thread in two weeks?

NJOA is a joke, go to www.njoa.org for a list of groups and sites that actually support NJ saltwater anglers, unlike the nj outdoor alliance.

That's what we love about you Tony

You call it like you see it.

While we (the fishermen) are lucky to have you on our side, you really should consider public service where you might be able to change/educate the minds of the people who MAKE the decisions that affect us better.

Then again...........I'm not sure if you're politically correct enough in this new world order???

I know from first hand experience that you always respond .

Thanks again for all you do for us tony- we would be completely lost without people like yourself and capt. Adam. Organizations you endorse are the only ones that will ever see a dime of my money!

Not a chance in hell am I PC enough for public service!!

Hell, at one MAFMC meeting when I was still on the council Michelle Peabody leans over to me and says "Do you realize you just when on the public record saying "wet dream?"

(The context was how For Hire vessels were an enforcements officer's wet dream since we leave and return to fixed locations and even advertise our departure and return times in the paper and on the net, just before any of you got any other ideas )

Don't worry tony, I think most of the money from this site is going to the SSFFF and RFA as they are well deserving of it!

Thanks for all you do as well!
