Beach Stripers
Finally be to make my first trip of the year. Hit the beach throwing 'snot'. Not one other soul on the entire stretch of beach I was at. Set up 3 rods spaced out over a 50 yard stretch that allowed my to cover but edges of the hole as well as down the middle. Absolutely no action for over 2.5 hours. Was down to my last few baits so I rebaited and decide that as those baits soaked, I'd pack up and make 1 trip to the car. Never got the chance as the middle rod went off. Just as I got that fish on the sand (shade over 28"s) another rod went off-which turned out to be a 34" bass. Both fish released and swam off strong.
